RECOGNITION COMMITTEE

Girl Scouts of Erie Shores appoints a Recognition Committee to manage the adult recognition system and is comprised of volunteers representative of the council jurisdiction. The committee is charged with reviewing and making recommendations for the appropriate award to be presented to the individual nominated. This committee looks over the paperwork, including the nomination forms and letters of endorsement for the Board approved recognitions. They have the responsibility of encouraging recognition for adults and older girls and assisting in the submission of applications for these awards. This committee will generally assist in recognition events for adults and for girls within their Service Units and at the Council level.
