PRODUCT SALES PROGRAMS

Product Sales Programs are an integral part of the Girl Scout Program. Not only do they provide the council and troops with funds, but they also teach girls valuable lessons about money-handling, budgeting, and more.

Participation in council-sponsored product sale programs by girls is not required. Troop leaders provide the information to parents and girls who make the decision on participation. Troop leaders support their decisions and provide information and direction to the girls and parents in order to have successful sales.

Girl Scouts of Erie Shores has two council sponsored sales per membership year: the Fall Product Sale (nuts and candies) and the Girl Scout Cookie Sale.
