Everyone Contributes
The benefits of Girl Scouting are measured not in dollars, but in the smiles of happy, confident girls who are the future leaders of our communities. Girl Scouts of Erie Shores is entrusted with developing, managing, and maintaining Girl Scouts in a five-county area, making Girl Scouting available to all girls in our geographic region. In order to accomplish this objective, operating funds are generated through the generous contributions of individuals, parents, volunteers, foundations, corporations, United Ways and product sales programs. Currently, the council spends $175 per girl per year to provide the Girl Scout experience. Girl Scouts of Erie Shores extends a heartfelt thank you to all of our donors. The cycle of giving is seen throughout the year as adults give of their time and give financial contributions to Girl Scouts of Erie Shores. At the same time girls are learning to do for others and give what they can to make our world a better place.
